Cream of Chicken Soup

I use this cream of chicken soup mix in replacement of canned soup. It uses my food storage and I know what is going into it. I have also used dried celery for cream of celery soup with tasty results.

Dry Ingredients
Ingredients
1 cup
powdered milk
3/4 cup
cornstarch
1/4 cup
chicken bullion
1/4 cup
minced onion
1 teaspoon
dried basil
1 teaspoon
dried parsley
1 teaspoon
ground pepper
Instructions
Mix together and store until ready to use.
You can multiply the ingredients to make a larger batch. I don't know the actual shelf life, but I've had it sitting in my pantry for 3-6 months without a problem.

Soup
Ingredients
1/3 cup
mix
1 cup
water
Instructions
To make 1 can worth of soup, combine mix and water. Whisk together and heat to boil. Cook until thick.
I tend to make 2 cans worth because this does come out more thin than a can of condensed soup.
